First Aid/TDG/WHMIS Training

First Aid Training

Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety Code is very specific regarding First Aid requirements for every employer. The Code establishes minimum standards only and many employers realize this is not enough. Click here to learn more.

In partnership with St. John Ambulance, BCL is pleased to offer preferred training rates to our clients. St. John Ambulance training will ensure you receive high quality training from certified instructors that will meet federal and provincial regulations.

Training can be provided at St. John’s facility or on your worksite should you meet the requirements. Online training is also now available, followed by and in-person practical assessment and final examination if that is your preference. Register here.

TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods)

All truck drivers who carry dangerous goods must be trained and certified. This also applies to individuals who handle or ship dangerous goods.

Through St. John Ambulance, BCL will ensure that all appropriate employees receive the necessary training for compliance with the regulations.

This training is provided online.

WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Material Information System)

The Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code states that all employees who are required to work with or in close proximity to “controlled products” must be trained in their safe storage and handling.

BCL will schedule your training through St. John Ambulance for those in your organization who require certification.

This training is provided online.
